Troop 888

Welcome to Boy Scout troop 888’s website!  Troop 888 is a member of the El Capitan District which is a part of the Orange County Council. Our troop has been around and serving our communities since the year 2000. We are chartered by CBCOC (Chinese Baptist Church of Orange County) located in Anaheim. Our goal as a troop is to create strong leaders that set good examples for others while having fun. The Law of our troop is the Scout Law, and we expect all of our patrols to follow it in all aspects of their lives. Troop 888 is comprised of 5 patrols that each take turns performing different responsibilities during every troop meeting, and each patrol always diligently fulfills their job every time. We are proud to say that our troop though fairly new already has a number of scouts who have obtained the honorable rank of Eagle Scout, the highest rank in Scouting. Our Troop is led by our wise and modest Scout Master Robert Woo who has led our troop for eight successful years. Mr. Woo is not the only person who makes running this troop possible.  The support that our troop receives from the parents and the scouts is amazing; we can always count on them to help when they are needed! Troop 888 participates in campouts, summer camps, community service, and other scouting activities. We have troop meetings twice a month, and campouts every month.
